Even those of us who are lucky enough to paint have bad weeks and I had a few recently.  In the middle of it all I received the most beautiful message from a young man in Tennessee.  He had purchased a small print of "the shell seeker" and it related to his own search to become a writer.   It was obvious to me that he was well on his way...

 

I printed it out and posted it on my refrigerator as a reminder of how fortunate I am to have people who go out of their way to say what my work means to them....  I can only express sheer gratitude...

 

It is one of the best things that can happen to an artist.
